Storm Chasing Day Two
This was the first chase day of the trip and it found us driving from Gillette, WY where we'd spent the night, through Sundance and on to Belle Fourche, ND. After lunch, we left the main road west of Belle Fourche and crossed country on a dirt road to intercept a tornadid supercell at Ekalaka, MT. Later as the storm lined out, we drove east into North Dakota through an incredible four hour long electrical storm that lasted all the way to Bismarck where we spent the night.
