My passion as an IT leader is helping businesses apply technology in a thoughtful way to be more successful and productive. By cutting through confusing technical jargon and creating enthusiastic, motivated teams, I've established a ten year track record in the financial services industry of delivering engaging client experiences and leaner, more agile business operations. In my current position as IT Director at LGT Vestra, I’ve had the privilege to be able to create an enterprise class IT function from scratch and build on this to deliver the post-acquisition integration of IT services with LGT Bank in Liechtenstein.
The determination, resilience and communication skills I developed working first as a patrol officer and later in intelligence and covert surveillance with London’s Metropolitan Police, have helped to make me a dependable and respected manager. I don’t shy away from awkward conversations and I’m respected for my straightforward, approachable management style which has enabled me to build productive, engaged and highly motivated teams.
In 2012, I sold the successful digital asset management software company, Pixaria (which I founded in 2000) to the Canadian technology and media group Evolusent. Clients included the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Thales Group, Pinewood Studios, Nestlé and Panasonic who chose Pixaria for its functionality and flexibility, ease of use and of course excellent customer support.
